About us

Our life with tibetan terriers began in 1999. This is the year when whe bought our first tibetan terrier Lun. I supose that lots of us have the same story why we decided to have this wonderful breed…….at least I know few of them. When I was 11 years old we found at the street beautiful grey longhair dog and we called him Ben. Ben was mixed breed but once one veterinarian asked us is our boy maybe a tibetan terrier  and I must admit that untill then I never heard for that breed, so few days after I bought my firs book about dogs just to see  how tibetan terriers looks like……and then “tibetan terrier fever” start! Now, when I know much more about them I must say that Ben could pass as tibetan terrier.

In that moment I decided that my another dog must be tibetan terrier… and around 8 years after we got one. My Ben was very old and ill so we decided that it’s the right time to have another dog, so Lun came in our house. Ben and Lun lived together 3 months and than my Ben passed away.

After less than 2 years after Lun came our Thai arrived – till than I learned more about them so I wish to have a lamleh boy. We were searching for a perfect male a long time so we made contact with Anke Peine from von Nama-schu Kennel in Germany and got our Thai – first lamleh in Croatia ! Thai became very successful show dog and we are so happy to have him. Than I thought that that’s it, but  I start to think about a female……and beatuful lamleh girl arrived in 2004. from Ika Stegmeijer, of Sjo-Who Sji-Bib kennel, Netherland. It was very hard to find her but thanks to Anke Peine and Nadine Komadina we met Ika and got Gala.

Now, our dogs are very important part of our life, they live with us, sleep with us, goes everywhere with us…..and make our lifes complete…..I can’t imagine my life without them.

At the end I must mention few very special people in my life who help me and who teached me a lot about this wonderful breed – Primoz Peer, Anke Peine and my dear Nadine.

We live in Croatia, Zagreb in a very sweet place called Đurđekovec, 35 minutes from the centre of Zagreb.
